Planet Dance Competition Team

Planet Dance's Competition Team is for dancers ages 5 and up, who are looking for more performance opportunities and are ready to take their training to the next level. Dance Team members train 2 - 4 days a week, in a variety of styles, to grow their technique and performance abilities.

Competition Team members are required to take weekly technique classes, in addition to their weekly team rehearsals. The competitive season runs from August to June each year. 

Planet Dance offers three levels of Competition Teams:

• Ages 5-7
• Ages 8-12
• Ages 13+

All dancers, both new and returning, must attend the Competition Dance Team Audition.

Dancers must be at least 5 years old by January 1, 2027, with at least one year of dance training, to audition.

For auditions, dancers should bring the completed audition form (below) and a $25 audition fee.
